Dodo Dead Mat Hex car sound deadening sheets are a professional grade pre-cut deadening solution designed to eliminate panel vibration, structural noise and road noise from cars and vans. The same high grade synthetic butyl compound and unique hex embossed aluminium facing as the bulk roll version — now available as individual car sound deadening sheets for precise, targeted deadening of doors, pillars, roofs and smaller panel areas.
Where the bulk roll is ideal for large floor and side panel areas, the pre-cut 375mm x 250mm car sound deadening sheet format is perfect for targeted deadening of specific problem areas — door skins, boot lids, roof panels, pillars and anywhere that needs precise placement without waste. No cutting required for standard panel sizes — simply peel and stick.
The synthetic butyl core delivers better sound deadening and vibration control than bitumen-based alternatives, with more rubber and less mineral filler for superior damping performance. The unique Dodo specification chemistry effectively kills panel vibration without adding unnecessary mass — ideal for performance car owners and van converters watching overall vehicle weight.
The distinctive hex embossed top sheet is designed to aid installation and mould easily around complex curved surfaces — door cavities, wheel arch lips and roof bows. The embossed pattern maintains flexibility, minimising creases and folds on difficult panel shapes while providing a clean aluminium finish on each car sound deadening sheet.
No adhesive, no primer, no specialist tools. Peel the backing and press firmly onto any clean interior sheet metal surface. The strong self-adhesive backing bonds immediately and permanently — no need for rollers or heat guns, though a roller will improve adhesion on complex surfaces.
Each car sound deadening sheet is fire retardant and heat resistant from -40°C to +120°C — suitable for use near engine bays, transmission tunnels and floor areas exposed to significant heat. Fully water and oil resistant once installed.

You can contact our team via email or phone for guidance — we’ll ask about your space and requirements and recommend the best acoustic solutions tailored to your project.
Yes. Combining absorption (to control echoes) with insulation or isolation (to block transmission) often yields the best overall acoustic environment, especially for flats, apartments, studios, or high-noise spaces.
