AM Momentum pipe lagging is a professional grade acoustic barrier mat designed to significantly reduce noise transmission from pipework, ducting and mechanical services. Based on a formulation of EPR and thermoplastic polymers filled with naturally occurring minerals, this pipe lagging delivers 36-38dB sound reduction while providing thermal insulation through its quilted fibreglass backing. Lead-free, bitumen-free and available in two variants to suit different acoustic and thermal requirements.

Foil Faced with Fibreglass Quilt Backing
The SGQ construction combines a monolayer sound barrier with a Class 0 aluminium foil outer face and a quilted fibreglass backing in either 25mm or 50mm thickness. The fibreglass quilt adds thermal insulation to the acoustic performance — making this pipe lagging suitable for both noise reduction and thermal management of pipework in a single product.
Flexible and Easy to Apply
The highly flexible formula makes AM Momentum pipe lagging ideally suited to wrapping around pipes of all sizes and profiles. It can be applied in intimate contact with the substrate, secured with contact adhesive or pressure sensitive tape, and finished cleanly with the foil face on the outer side.
Lead-Free and Bitumen-Free
AM Momentum pipe lagging contains no lead, no unrefined aromatic oils and no bitumen — making it safe for use in occupied residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
Fire Rated
Carries a reaction to fire classification of B S2 D0 and meets UK Building Regulations Class 0 requirements — suitable for use in buildings where fire performance of insulation products is specified.
